Q3 wasn’t an easy one, but Brodashaggi’s creative ability to engage and entertain his fans earned him a spot in the top 5. With his hilarious and nonchalant character, Brodashaggi is a figure you can’t ignore. Despite the challenges, Brodashaggi remains an award-winning creative in the entertainment industry.
In Q3, he recorded a total of 17.4 million views from his Instagram skit videos, which placed him in the top 5.

Next on the list is Thecuteabiola, the Special Assistant on Creative Industries to the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq. Our favourite naval officer is back on the list, this time in the fourth position.

He ended the quarter with 5.4 million followers and 22.4 million views from his Instagram skit videos in Q3, which helped him secure the fourth-place spot.
3. Layiwasabi
In third place is Layiwasabi, a very talented young man who is one of the tallest, if not the tallest, skit makers in Nigeria. Layiwasabi has steadily won the hearts of many with his highly relatable skits. From his “Law character” to “Mr. Richard the motivational speaker”, you are definitely in for a laugh. Layiwasabi is a law degree holder from Bowen University.
He started making skits in 2020 and has since grown his Instagram following to 1.2 million and achieved 30.6 million views in Q3 from his Instagram skit videos, which earned him the third spot on our list.
2. Sabinus
Emmanuel Chukwuemeka, aka Mr Funny, aka Sabinus, is one of Nigeria’s most popular skit makers, claiming the second spot on our list with his hilarious and relatable skits.
Sabinus has a knack for making his audience laugh. In Q3, his skits garnered 30.8M views on social media, and he has won numerous awards for his work. Sabinus’s second-place ranking is a testament to his talent and creativity, and he continues to be one of the most exciting voices in Nigerian comedy.
1. Mark Angel
Mark Angel, the undisputed king of Nigerian skit comedy, reigned supreme in our skit maker analysis, taking the first-place spot. His hilarious and creative skits have captured the hearts of audiences across the globe.

Top 5 Female Instagram Skit Makers
5. Kiekie
Starting off for the ladies, we have Kiekie. In the first half of 2023, she gave us a grand total of 40 million views, 5 million likes, and 156k comments. In just Q3, her numbers amounted to 14.8 million views, 1.8 million likes, and 46.7k comments.
Maintaining consistency with these numbers, Kiekie’s reach by the end of this half is going to be mind-blowing. For KieKie, It’s not just about the numbers; it’s about the quality and diversity of content that keeps her followers coming back for more.
4. Taaooma
Taaooma Ranks Fourth Place

With 127.9 million views, Mama Chinedu emerged as the king of YouTube skit makers in Q3 2023. The following skit makers also gained impressive numbers and made it to the list in the third quarter of 2023: Sam Spedy, with 52.3 million views, follows closely.
